FSR - full suspension

FSR - full suspension

We blazed the trail in active and independent suspension, and have been refining it ever since. FSR technology delivers more comfort, control and efficiency than any other suspension design, by effectively isolating chain and brake loads. Through our 20-year progression of FSR we’ve been able to tune the ride to match the experience. The result: FSR technology is used to capture both Cross-Country and Downhill World Championships.

Control

MAXIMUM TRACTION MEANS GREATER CONTROL - The FSR design is independent of chain and brake forces, therefore it’s free to compress and rebound over terrain features whether you’re pedaling or not; allowing the tires to maintain contact with the ground a greater percentage of the time.

Comfort

SMOOTHING TERRAIN TO MINIMIZE IMPACTS & REDUCE RIDER FATIGUE - Active suspension is free to absorb trail-induced forces so the rider’s body doesn’t have to.

Efficiency

MAXIMIZING EACH ROTATION OF THE CRANKS - The FSR drivetrain is independent of the suspension, so pedal stroke is not affected. Chain torque won’t engage the suspension, so as a rider puts effort into the pedals the bike will propel forward, not up and down.

FSR + Brain

The FSR linkage system is the best design in the sport at eliminating power induced movement of the rear suspension system. The active and independent system remains neutral and unaffected as power is applied through the system. We use the Brain technology to stabilize the chassis from the rider’s weight transferring inputs (like aggressive pedaling) with the pedal torque induced movements being neutralized by the FSR linkage.
